All of our team have been chosen for their proven ability to work effectively at the highest levels, as third parties, with both state and non-state actors.

Gabrielle Rifkind

Gabrielle is a group analyst, specialist in conflict resolution and an accredited mediator. She has over two decades’ experience of working in the Middle East, combining her in-depth psychological and political expertise to promote methods of managing radical differences.

Nita is an accredited mediator with diplomatic and military experience.  She was the former Head of Good Offices and Conflict Prevention at the Commonwealth Secretariat in London and a founding member of the UN’s Mediation Support Unit in New York.

Paul has several decades experience within teams seeking impact on great power conflict and particularly nuclear risks, deterrence and disarmament. He is a research affiliate with the Centre for the Study of Existential Risk at Cambridge University.

Jasmine M. El-Gamal

Senior Advisor
Jasmine brings over 20 years of experience in US national security, defence policy, and conflict resolution to the organisation’s mission of transforming radical divides through dialogue. A former Middle East Advisor at the US Department of Defense in the Obama administration and cultural advisor in multiple conflict zones, Jasmine has also advised the UN, EU, as well as Arab and Western officials on some of the most complex security issues of our time. Her ability to bridge East and West, security and human rights, and policy and people makes her a vital contributor to Oxford Process’s discreet peacemaking work across the region.

 

Jas Kaur

Project Manager
Jas is a part-time Project Manager at Oxford Process, supporting the team with project management, communications, and research. She brings extensive communications experience and holds a BSc in Politics and International Relations, as well as an MSc in Countering Organised Crime and Terrorism.
